2019-2020 Influenza Vaccination

The seasonal influenza (flu) vaccine is now recommended for most people ages 6 months and older. All designated personnel at Washington University who provide patient care services or work in buildings where patient care or clinical research is conducted must receive the seasonal flu vaccine as a condition of employment and/or access to patient care or clinical care areas. Those affected will need to get the annual flu vaccine no later than December 15, 2018, unless they are granted an exemption for medical reasons or religious beliefs.

Washington University School of Medicine Student Health Service will begin administering Influenza vaccine Monday, September 23, 2019, on a walk-in basis (no appointment needed). Starting Monday, September 23rd  the flu vaccine will be available in the Student Health office every day, Monday – Friday 8:00am – 3:00pm.

Please feel free to stop by Student Health Service at your convenience starting September 23rd, Monday – Friday between 8:00am – 3:00pm to receive a free flu shot, no appointment needed.
